For referral partners

The page to forward.

If you advise life-science companies and a client's question crosses into China — or arrives from it — this page says what we take on, what we decline, and what happens after you make the introduction. It is written to be sent, not to be read by us.

Send us this

  • A European life-science company that needs China evidence, access or channel
  • A Chinese company that needs Europe — CE, MDR, reimbursement, distribution
  • A question that needs primary interviews in Chinese, with named respondents
  • A client with a Chinese entity that is not performing, where the problem is organisational
  • A due diligence where the Chinese half of the picture is missing
  • A leadership team that has to see a market before it will commit

Not us

  • Regulatory filing as an agent — we identify and qualify those partners, we are not one
  • Legal opinions, tax structuring or audit
  • Recruitment as a placement business
  • Anything outside life sciences and adjacent consumer health
  • Work where a distributor would be paying us on the other side

What we will not do to your client

We do not sell across the introduction.

A client you introduce stays yours. We scope the question we were introduced for, and if we see work adjacent to it we tell you before we tell them. Fourteen years of partner-referred engagements have run on that rule, and it is the only reason a referral relationship survives more than two projects.

How an introduction runs

  1. You make the introduction

An email to contact@jumopartners.com with the company, the question and whether you want to stay in the thread. Either answer is fine.

  2. A partner replies within two working days

Not a salesperson, and not a form response. If it is not for us, that reply says so and, where we can, names who it is for.

  3. A scoping call, then a line-by-line quote

Thirty minutes with the partner who would run the work. The quote that follows is itemised, so your client can see what they are paying for and remove anything they do not want.

  4. You are kept informed, or you are not

Whichever you asked for at the introduction. We will not put you in a position of learning about your own client's project from your client.

Commercial terms

We work with referral, subcontract and joint-delivery arrangements, and we are equally comfortable being invisible to the end client or named alongside you. Terms are agreed in writing before the first scoping call.
