About
Independent, senior, and on the ground.
Founded in 2012. One of the few independent consulting firms specialised in life sciences between Europe and China — and one of the very few that works in both directions.
Our mission
We take life-science and consumer-health companies across the Europe–China corridor — and we stay for the part that decides whether it works.
Most advice on this corridor ends at the recommendation. The recommendation is the cheap half. What decides the outcome is the year that follows it: the partner who was chosen, the price that held or did not, the registration that someone else may now own. That is the part we are built for.
What we value
Three words from our own brand book, and what each one has to be worth.
Know-how
Seniority, not slides. A partner has fifteen years, a senior consultant five, a consultant two — and you engage the seniority the question requires, not the seniority that sold the work.
Our interviews are run by our own people, in Mandarin. One of our partners reads, writes and negotiates in Chinese. Another has rotated through commercial, HR, legal, IT, manufacturing and R&D inside a single pharmaceutical group.
Supportive
We do not stop at the recommendation. Where the work needs someone to stay and run it, a partner stays — accountable for an outcome rather than for a document.
One client’s China network has been in our hands for more than six years. Part-time management and standing mandates are not a side business; they are how most of our long relationships are shaped.
Multicultural
Both directions, both languages, one team. The method does not change when the direction does. The office does, the regulator does, and the network does.
Paris, Valencia, Lausanne, Beijing and Shanghai. European companies entering China and Chinese manufacturers entering Europe are served by the same firm, and often by the same people.
These three come from our own brand book. We have kept them and written down what each one obliges us to do, because a value nobody can check is decoration.

Where we sit
Founding member of the French Healthcare Alliance China.
JUMO Partners is a founding member of the French Healthcare Alliance China, the Business France initiative that brings together French healthcare companies operating in China, and has sat on its steering committee since 2013.
It is the room where French healthcare companies working in China compare notes on regulation, reimbursement and market access. We have been in it since the first meeting.
Partners & alliances
We are the China and Europe capacity of firms that do not have one.
We work alongside European strategy consultancies, life-science advisory firms and investment funds who need field presence, execution capacity and bilingual resources on the corridor — without competing with them upstream. Several of our long-running engagements are delivered this way.
