For procurement, legal and compliance
Everything your third-party process is about to ask us.
Onboarding a small foreign supplier is usually the slowest part of buying advice — six to ten weeks in a large group, and it has killed better projects than this one. Here is the whole file, in advance, so the questionnaire is a formality rather than a discovery exercise.
The entity you would contract with
Independence and conflicts
- Search, qualification and advisory work is fee-based. No candidate pays to appear on a client's shortlist.
- Business-development engagements can carry success-linked compensation. The model is set out in the Scope of Work before the work starts.
- We disclose a conflict before an engagement starts — always, and in writing.
- Exclusivity sits with the partner, not with the firm: the partner who leads your engagement does not lead a competing one.
- Where two clients in the same category are served at the same time, they are served by separate teams, with separate working files and nothing passing between them. Where we cannot staff that separation, we decline the second mandate rather than dilute the first.
Our compensation is paid by the client. Where any part of it would come from another party, it is disclosed in writing before the work starts and you approve it.
Who does the work
- The partner who scopes the engagement is the partner who delivers it, and is named in the quote.
- If someone named in the Scope of Work has to be replaced, we tell you before it happens and propose someone of equal seniority.
- Associates are contracted individually by JUMO, background-checked, and sign confidentiality undertakings before they start. JUMO remains your sole counterparty.
- Consultants hold at least two years of experience, senior consultants five, partners fifteen.
Data — the part that matters most in this business
We interview named healthcare professionals in China. That has consequences for you, not only for us.
Two things your compliance team will want in writing
We interview professionals, never patients. Healthcare professionals and industry professionals, in their professional capacity. We run no patient or consumer research and we collect no health information about the people we speak with — so no sensitive personal information under PIPL, and no special category data under the GDPR, enters our work.
Research and expert identification are separate services. In research, participants are not identified to you: you receive findings, never recordings, full transcripts or names, and participants are not contacted commercially afterwards. Expert identification is the opposite by design — named, and only with the expert's prior agreement. Information given in a research interview is never used to introduce someone to a client.
A study of sixty to ninety clinicians generates personal data of healthcare professionals, collected in China and read in Europe. Your data protection officer will have questions before your commercial team does, and your transparency reporting may be affected by how respondents are compensated.
A note on why this page exists
A firm that has not been through a real procurement does not build this page.
Which is, in the end, why it is here. If something your process requires is missing above, tell us and we will add it — for you and for the next buyer.
